  3. script/macro programming language. CSS follows
  4. the C syntax and will seem familiar to C, C++, or
  5. Java programmers. CSS comes with ready-to-use
  6. libraries not only for system, string and file handling,
  7. but also for direct access to relational databases
  8. like DB2 and Oracle. While CSS contains an
  9. executive for running scripts from the command line,
  10. there is also a C++ API allowing VisualAge C++
  11. programmers to write dynamic libraries for CSS or
  12. embed CSS as a macro language in their
  13. applications.
